Default Somewhat Interesting From Stars $500K...

This was one interesting hand... When the BB raises all in, I can safely figure him for any PP, or AT-AK...I planned to call, but then MP1, who plays loose as a goose, and gets his chips in pre-flop with almost any ace, calls, I had a decision to make. I can't call and fold a blank flop. So, I decide to get all of his chips in, and even if I lose the main pot, I cut my losses with the side-pot, which I expect to be a heavy favorite to win against MP1.

Thoughts?

looks pretty standard to me, you can't fold after getting 2000 into it preflop, and if you dont flop somethign you're in an awkward spot.

Looks like MP1 has a monster and doesn't want you to fold. Nevertheless, once you've made such a big raise pf, you are pretty much going to call that bet.

I think your preflop raise was the mistake in this hand. I know you were following some formula, but you should think deeper about the purpose of that formula. With AK, you prefer it to be heads-up on the flop. You should bet the amount that will get some decent hands that you dominate to come along with you. 2000 ain't it, not when the blinds are this large. 1200 would have been sufficient, and would have allowed you more choices pf and on the flop.
