Default Standard AA

Right?

Villain has v$pip 42 and pfr 7.7
Only 20-something hands and no real read.
He's had a few lucky hands before this, so I guess he feels he's on a roll.

on a draw heavy board like this i may overbet the pot on the flop, like $10 instead of $7.6, i dont know if this necesarily makes i difference, but my thoughts

This is of course a bad beat post.
Villain kept taunting me after the hand,
telling me how it was "an easier read than harry potter".
So I had to post it to get some kind words.

But I would have played it the same even if we could see each others cards.
Villain had 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Ah the old river suck out and smack talk. Tool. I have to admit that's not a bad line to get under someone's skin with, though.

He calls a preflop raise with trash, pays too much to draw on the flop, and sucks out on the river. Who should be taunting who?

Yeah, it went downhill from there.
Just out of curiosity:
How much would I have to bet on that river to make it correct for him to chase?

If it was "an easier read than harry potter", then villain should have known you would check the river unimproved, and therefore he should have bet it, being out of position like that. Otherwise he aint gonna make max. profit from calling a better hand down like that.

Dont believe villains patter.. he was probably just wetting himself that he'd made 2 pair and was wondering if it would be enough, and probably didnt even think about your hand, being completely focussed on chasing that str8 down..

make you feel a bit better? :-)
