Default What brand are the new (crappy) foxwoods cards?

Foxwoods changed their brand of cards a few months ago. The new cards are terrible. I've requested setups because the cards are so bent, you can read peoples hole cards by the bent up corners. Does any one know what brand these are, so I can never buy them?

I've heard Gemaco mentioned a couple of times, but not by anyone with authority (once by my dealer friend though).

I agree that these cards are horrendous. If game conditions permit I like to sit on one of the ends of the table, and I've had to be really careful lately when folding to avoid flipping up my hand.

Are these the cards that feel paperish? I played with those and I do agree that they suck.

I don't know the brand of the new cards but it's universally agreed that they suck. I even overheard a floor person say that yeah, these new cards suck, someone screwed up the order but we have x amount of the new decks and are stuck with them.

STUCK WITH THEM??? Give me a break. Biggest casino in the World and probably the most profitable. Just dump em in the garbage and buy some new ones. Unbelievable!

Yeah, and probably one of the reasons why they're the most profitable is that they never pass up a chance to squeeze blood from a stone.

Sure, they probably could afford to dump the cards. But if they don't, they prolly figure they'll make even more money.

Why do they not just sell the cards? They don't have to throw them away.

It amazes me when casinos use crappy cards. With all the money they make is it such a burden to buy KEM instead of whatever crappy ones? Of course now that KEM has been bought they might not be so good either..

Last I heard was that KEM will no longer put casino logos on cards, so the 'woods canned them in favor of the crap they're dealing now.

Yeah, I heard that from some floors at Foxwoods, but someone on here said that they do, they just increased the number of decks you have to order at a time, and the woods is too dumb to just buy a nice big supply.
