\Oh, and Farha's explanation to why his AQ was a favorite over QQ on an undercard flop.

"Well I've got a queen, so you can get any of those, and I have an ace, so that makes me a favorite right?"

[/ QUOTE ]

i really like this one too. but you left out the best part, that as soon as the cards are flipped over, farha sees he's drawing to 3 outs or running hearts, and says to the other guy "you're in trouble now baby"

This is really the winner. This was pure genius.

Norman Chad:

Some last year thought Greg Raymer was a fluke. Now, Raymer is telling everyone where they can stick their fluke

If you cannot cope with Matusow, the proper response when Matusow motions in the direction of the kiddie game: "No, isn't that the direction of the jail?". That oughta have him taken an N*10min break.

So when does this event start on TV? I'm assuming next October/November. So how did all you posters get to hear all these lines from the 2006 ME?

sorry, but that nit has already been picked. props I think go to dynasty, for the clever use of sarcasm in "can I borrow your time machine".

Russ, your avatar is priceless!

...As far as quotes go, all the good poker-related ones have been taken. I'll contribute one by Norman Chad, when the smelly Scot's "NO NO NO NO NO NO NO...YES! YES! YES!" schtick was still fresh on day one:

"Brings back memories of my wedding night, Lon."

after bluffing out another player, "The kiddie game is over there"
Mike Matasow

[/ QUOTE ]

My hand would have gone flying across the table in his face.. Also even if the other guy called his bluff matasow had about 9 outs so it wasn't a complete bluff.. he could have gotten a Q a K or a 10(i belive for a straight)

[/ QUOTE ]

actually, Matusow had the best hand - a 2
