2 tough overpair spots

Only been playing a few minutes so no real reads, but I've been running the tables so far.

I'm still learning how to play overpairs properly multi-way. On the second hand I really wasn't aiming for a "great laydown", but both players had been pretty passive up until now so I felt I had to give them credit for something strong.

And hand 2 feels icky. I don't like something about it. When you fold, I don't see how you think they necessarily have you beat. QQ, JJ, the other KK, and a spade AK all seem likely.

Missed the lack of raise in hand #1. Bad.

Hand 2, nobody's checkraising the turn with AKs at 2/4. If it were heads up you could call down and hope to see QQ, but with two villians it's time to exit.

Gotta pfr in hand 1.

I'd rather cap the flop in hand 2, since I don't give Button credit for AA/TT yet.

edit: After a closer look at the combinatrix, I think a flop call in hand 2 is ok.

I didn't raise hand 1 because I didn't think I had any shot at thinning the field, and acting out of position in the family pot I thought I'd conceal the hand and go for a set or c/r undercards.

First hand he had Q9.
Second hand I really didn't know where I was at or how many outs I could count facing 2 cold. UTG really looked like a set to me.
UTG had 54, other guy had QQ.

You don't need to thin the field here. You're likely enough to flop undercards or a set that it's an easy raise for value.
Planning to go for a check-raise isn't a great idea because you have no idea where a bet will come from. You'll risk trapping the field when you want to blow them out and blowing them out when you want to trap them.
With 7 people in, you give up too much value to account for the deception value you get.
