Comments requested on this video card and monitor
Video card at NewEgg.com
Monitor at NewEgg.com Pre-emptive comments: I'm not interested in a 2001FP at this point but rather a 19 inch CRT, and I need a PCI (not AGP) video card because my computer doesn't have an AGP slot. |

Re: Comments requested on this video card and monitor
I have two 19" NEC Multisync FP 955 monitors and I like them. They are pretty old - I bought them used actually. I'm not a monitor guru, I just need something that can do 1600x1200 and is easy on my eyes.
I also have an ATI Radeon 7500 with dual monitor support. I am pretty happy with that as well. I have the VGA and DVI out like the card you linked to, but I used a converter to VGA for the DVI out to support 2 VGA monitors. Your setup would be pretty similiar to what I have, and it works for me. |

Re: Comments requested on this video card and monitor
I have that exact card. It's not bad.
I've run 6 tables with PT, a browser and WinAmp before. For gaming, it'll run Halo 1, but not Doom 3. I'm going to be upgrading soon, though... wanna buy mine? Edit: D'oh... mine's AGP. Nevermind. |

Re: Comments requested on this video card and monitor
Thanks--I ended up ordering that monitor and a cheaper video card from NewEgg.com. I'm sure I'll be posting here when they arrive with tech support questions.
