My guess is he spouted off and/or demanded too much money to stay on ATH, pissed off ESPN, and is now doomed to jump from show to show on the junior circuit (Fox, etc.) and not be able to get any significant viewership because he's stuck on a 2nd-rate sports network.

He has currently been relegated to to do the Tucker Carlson show (conservative with bow tie) on MSNBC.

I only wish he would come back to doing his weekly boxing/misc chats on espn.com.

Kellerman was talented I thought. ATH sucks really bad now. I don't understand why they're gonna put Stephen A. Smith's show on ESPN2 and keep that garbage on ESPN... and I hate Smith too.

His contract with ESPN expired, and he became essentially a restricted free agent, as I recall. FSN offered more money than ESPN was willing to pay.

Speaking of Smith (and others), is anyone else bothered by the fact that traditional 'print' reporters are becoming bigger stories than the sports they cover? Do

if i remember correctly, max kellerman chose FSN because he was having a baby with his wife who lived in new york, and was tired of traveling back and forth from D.C. all the time. I also thought I read something about him thinking that ESPN was separating themselves from boxing, which was his sport before ATH.

Though I'm sure money was a big factor as well...

Statboy was definitely an upgrade over Kellerman. Plus, there was the added bonus that Holly left the show too.

Yeah, ATH is actually better with stat boy and without holley imo.

Kellerman is retarded. Bit the hand that fed him, and now he's on MSNBC with the likes of keith olberman (who?)
