Re: SLEEPING IN THE CAR
Simple, get the back windows tinted, then if you sleep in the back nobody will see you.

95 BBs in 7 hours...
Thanks Fred, I hope you didn't lynch her, save me a vial for next time. I had my largest winning session yet. Sorry I didn't stay but I couldn't see over my chips so it was getting hard to see the board.
Peace, JT |

Re: SLEEPING IN THE CAR
My only advice, if your going to sleep during the day, move the car from the hot sunny parking lot into the cool shady garage. I slept in my car in the sun once and woke up feeling like a poached egg, only with more ass sweat.

Good stuff. what game were you drubbing? I the stack statement is correct, I'd guess the 4-8 since 400 $2 chips would be quite a site. For sheer profit, I hope it was a bigger game.

Re: 95 BBs in 7 hours...
It was a bigger game, the 5/10 w/ the Kill. I went 5 Kill wins in a row that included getting check-raised on the river as I held QUADS! Good time.

Re: 95 BBs in 7 hours...
What do you consider a big bet in that game? $10? Sounds like a nice session. Nothing like walking to the cashier with multiple racks. |

Re: 95 BBs in 7 hours...
Yes, I walked out w/$955 in the plus. It was nuts. Plus the $500 I had in red (I started slow and rebought), the 5 towers of 60 reds was a nice thing to see. Wild game.

Re: SLEEPING IN THE CAR
I've never done this on purpose, but there have been several times that I've overestimated my ability to drive after leaving a long session (this happened to me recently when I drove from Chicago to Minneapolis to play at Canterbury). I've had to pull off at rest areas and get some zzzzzs.

This topic is cracking me up!
When I used to play live the low limit table at Casino Rama has some of the most ubsurd sick maniacs I have ever seen. You know they type who dumped their entire cheques at the tables(work, welfare, disability or pension)and these cats would literally sleep in the bus waiting room. It amazed me sleeping in your car is nothing compared to these guys.

Re: SLEEPING IN THE CAR
I don't think it's a big deal at all as long as you park someplace safe. I've done a lot of sleeping in cars, vans etc (I'm a musician), and the biggest thing to consider is safe parking. an suv sounds perfect for this?
btw, are you an nyc player? I play at ps quite frequently. --turnipmonster |
