Default MGM HORSE

Just got back from a trip to Vegas. One of the highlights was definitely the game of HORSE at the MGM last night (Friday). Mad props to everyone in the game, especially the two guys who started the interest list and convinced me to get on it. I know chances are extremely slight that any of them are actually reading this, but if you are, just know that you made my day and I thank you

I'm actually more local to AC (~2.5hr drive from Baltimore). I read a recent thread about trying to get a HORSE game going there somewhere -- if anyone has plans of this in the future please PM me, even if it is last minute I will seriously consider making the drive in for it because I haven't had that much fun playing poker with strangers in like ever.

3/6

which means that for stud, the bring-in is $1 and complete is $3, right? because we actually weren't sure about this, the dealer didn't know either, but that's what we drunk kids decided!

A $1 bring-in is pretty normal for 3/6, at least in my experience. What were you doing for antes?

If MGM spread this game regularly (up to 5-10), I would never play anywhere else in Vegas when I came. That says a lot of nice things about the management of that room that they'd spread a low-limit HORSE game for some folks.

I thought he was talking about that quarter mechanical horse game. What is this horse low limit poker about?

It's technically H.O.R.S.E. (i.e. hold'em, omaha/8, razz, stud and stud Eight or better).
