Default PokerTracker now gets tourney info from the HH files

If you've used PT to store your tourney info, you've always had to request the tournament summary via email, or manually enter some tourney results. Well now PT can figure out all the info directly from the hand history file off your hard drive...it's in the latest patch, and works fine for me so far. It's pretty sweet if you routinely play more than 50/day on an Empire account (I don't know what other sites limit the number of summaries you can request).

From the patch notes
"NEW - For Party (and skins) single-table Sit&Go tournaments. PT now will record the buy-in and fee from the hand history file on your computer. Basically what this means is that you won't have to deal with requesting tournament summaries for these tournaments unless you want to have a record the place of finish for everyone in that tournament."

So will this only track how you do in the tournament, or will it track everyone until you bust?

I've been messing around with it and it looks like it records everyone until you bust and stop watching

This would make the most sense. Before this patch , if you made it ITM PT recorded it and everyone until you busted.

Well it just records everything in the HH file...so however long you observe a tournament, that's what hands it'll pull in. Bust out and keep watching, and it records hands until you close the window.

Awww this would've been a much more convenient feature for PokerStars. You have to separately request the summaries through email... Annoying enough I just keep track of my finishes manually.
