SB in 6-max
PP 6Max. vs. 10 handed NL $25 Which do you prefer
In the reply by fimbulwinter, he says he plays uber-tight out of the SB. Is this the common consensus, that it's generally correct to play uber-tight out of the SB in 6-max? By my logic, wouldn't it make sense to play even looser from the SB since your pot odds are twice as good? |

Re: SB in 6-max
I'm going to take a guess and say that the pre-flop pot odds are less relevent in that you have the massive disadvantage of worst position post-flop.

Re: SB in 6-max
i play relatively loose from sb and complete alot of hand with large potential, such as connectors, gapers if they are suited and so on. Of course it depends how many of the players between UTG and button who has already limped in the pot. For me this play is +EV.

Re: SB in 6-max
I would also like to note that I am also relatively loose to complete in the SB.

Re: SB in 6-max
Yup thats pretty much it. The power of position is enhanced playing shorthanded. However the SB is a good place to play those implied odds hands in an unraised pot. But it gets really hard to play big offsuit cards for instance out of the small blind.

Re: SB in 6-max
I like completing many hands from the SB and betting out on many scary flops like 338 with or without the goods. This is a cheap way to create an aggresive image and annoy your opponents.
