Default Stars v Party - Specifically NL100 6max

For those who play both...

Normally I dont play NL100, slightly out of my bankroll
However, i'm playing to to expedite clearing the stars bonus and doing well, but not spectacular. So i decide to see how the avg pots at stars compare to party.
I knew party was softer, but this much?
at a glance, the avg pot on stars looks around $16-18, while party is $23-$25.

do stars and party figure avg pot differently or something?
or is party really 50% softer?

edit: looked at NL25 6 max, and its just as bad!

When Party calculates average pots, they include uncalled bets at the end. So if the pot is $16 and I bet $8, that's a $24 pot.

Dunno if Stars does that, but it could account for the difference.

Actually I'm not even sure if Party does that, just read that somewhere once.

Helpful, I know.

I know Stars does not do that. Pokerroom does, I don't know about Party.

Stars is plenty soft.

I have only played at stars for their bonuses, I usually play 100NL mostly at party and when i ahve played it at stars I felt it was a lot tougher than party, but like I said I don't have much experience playing at stars.

I've never played on stars before two days ago, but I've played a lot on party.

I can't say if stars is much softer, but it's definitly more passive. People checking all three streets with the nuts seems to be a regular occurance. This should account for the small pot sizes.

Yeah definetly more passive at stars at these tables but plenty soft. Also for some reason there seem to be a lot more short stacks at Stars from my experience. Because of this the pots can't always become huge and will factor into a lower avg pot size.
