Because of Legends, they've switched over to the bigger NL games although there has been talk of showing some larger limit games, but maybe those players don't want to be on the broadcast.

Speaking of players being completely hammered, reading one of the earlier tournament reports, Frank Mariani was really hammered and managed to win on Wednesday.

Default If you call all the pro\'s \"fish\" who will come on

With Amir's play last night and Men the Master's story, who would want to come on the webcast with the announcers labeling them fish? Anyone with knowledge of the game could judge Amir's play last night. For God sakes, Jesus took him to town. Is it necessary to say it when everyone knows it. Its like saying the sun will come up tommorrow. I would like to see an occasional pro on the game, but who likes to be belittled when its obvious?

Wow what a bad play by Mario, great check-call by seat 3.

mario made a tourney play there...when you're up against your tourney life you may fold a ragged two pair like that.

If the pros play better, then they wouldn't be able to characterize them as a fish. Although saying tournament pros aren't as good in cash games based on 2 players on 2 nights is a bit overboard. Also, would you want them to sanitize their commentary or shoot from the hip? They don't have a gun to their head to play in this game.

Default Barry Greensteins website

I have to agree about Barry's website. He reviews quite a few pros in a lot of categories. Some interesting stories too. Check it out.

I think that play in a tourney would be pretty terrible.

The point is this. It is super obvious about the level of play of Amir last night. Why kick dirt, and bury the corpse?
