why do so many on stars have iceberg / winter scene avatars?

they are sample images that come with windows so people who dont have any images just use them [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I think they are mostly the standard pics that come as a sample for windows xp

Just coincidence on my part. I have a snowflake one, but its a logo I designed for a baseball team in one of my fake sports leagues.
