Default Party Midnight Eastern $100 --final table sweat?

RussianAce10...first place, ten left.

Playing on a friend's account. He was too drunk to finish.

Dude, I finished 8th!

Weird things happened....One hand I openraised from the SB w/ JJ and the bb calls. Flop King high, i bet 14k into a 20k pot, he immediately moves in for 40k more, I think a long while and fold. He shows a total bluff.

Then later I opened in EP with AKs, SB coldcalls and the BB has me covered and he moves in. I decide to call b/c I can more than double up here and I'm going for a shot to win the whole thing you know? He shows QQ and I don't catch, so just like that I was out.

i think you played those hands right.

I dont call with the JJ either. That was a gutsy bet by him unless he knew you didnt have Kx or AA.

Ak vs QQ was fine too. To win you must have some luck. Yours just run out.

I have a question how do you split the winnings with two people playing?

Well I took over during hand for hand play b/c he was piss drunk and the arrangement we worked out was that we'd split the final table winnings 60/40 (I'd get the 40).

The JJ hand was interesting. It was the kind of thing where I thought it was too marginal and I'd be left w/ half the avg stack if I called and lost.

He showed T9. Maybe I should have known that he'll reraise preflop sometimes if he has a King? Weak King like K2-K7 he'd prob just fold and maybe reraise w/ the better ones? But of course not everyone plays like I do. I thought he might have had the second pair but I just didn't feel like finding out.
