Randy, fill me in. Since when is straddling on the button allowed? [/ QUOTE ] Well if I was asked to rule on it I would rule it isn't, but in some games it is allowed with more than 3 players and I have seen it done (and have done it) in player games. |

Hate to be a newb, but what the hell is straddling? [/ QUOTE ] UTG can put out a bet that is 2xBB blind, before the hand is dealt, and has the option to raise it after the action has gone around the table the first time. |

I was under the impression that a straddle in NL could be any size.

Re: 1/2 NL 3 handed 2 guys always live straddle
UTG is also the button, so he gets to act last pre and post flop when he straddles. It sucks to straddle 10 handed bc you are way oop.

I was under the impression that a straddle in NL could be any size. [/ QUOTE ] That could be. In LHE, it's 2xBB. |

I was under the impression that a straddle in NL could be any size. [/ QUOTE ] I've never heard that before. When multiple straddles are allowed in NL, they often (always?) each double the previous one (so UTG posts 2BB, UTG+1 posts 4BB, UTG+2 posts 8BB, etc.). |

I was under the impression that a straddle in NL could be any size. [/ QUOTE ] Every room I know of requires a straddle to still be 2x in NL. |
