Default top pair on flop, bet into on turn -- what to do?

SB seemed run of the mill player... fairly loose but nothing noticeable otherwise.

In this situation quite often and I don't know how to proceed.. flop top pair but get bet into on the turn.

Here, I think I'm probably behind but folding at the first sign of aggression seems weak. OTOH it's a small pot and a coordinated board so maybe best just to drop?

I'd fold, you can only really count on the K outs, and even if you hit you may already be behind to a straight, if a Queen comes you could be splitting but lose to any Ace, plus the pot's small. Fold and wait for a better chance.

I gotta like a 7 here too. However, I agree. A fold looks pretty good here. The pot is too small and there is a chance you are already behind a straight that would kick the [censored] out of yours even if you do hit that 7. As Jackson said, wait for a better chance.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I thought afterwards that folding was best but maybe I was being results orientated.

I called down and was shown Q9o for a straight... gotta learn when to throw marginal hands in small pots.

Thanks
