Default Plz Let Me Use My NL Instincts and Fold Here

Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, BB calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero caps, SB calls, BB calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (20 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP1 checks, MP2 bets, Hero raises, SB calls, BB folds, MP1 folds, MP2 3-bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

Turn: (14.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

River: (17.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

Final Pot: 20.50 BB

From preflop action it's obvious I have a high pocket pair. There are no draws, on the flop at first he has a pocket pair of some sort and bets into me so I raise to drive out the field, but then he 3 bets and his goal is to get as much money in as he can. It's 100% obvious I'm seeing showdown, he must have a 9. Please can i fold this??

dont you know that folding is not allowed in limit? him betting into you rather than checkraising, should be a smaller pair often enough to justify calling down.

but the 3 bet in conjunction with preflop action and this drawless board doesn't make sense for just a low pocket pair, and it can't be a high pocket pair cause of how he played preflop

sorry youre right. im 4tabling atm and didnt see that he 3bet the flop. the fold is alot closer than i realized. in fact, after looking at this a second time i think its closer to a fold than a call down.

whoops.

I find a fold on the turn here. If not there, then the river when SB overcalls on the turn.

You can fold this. just fold! of course you SHOULD call the turn, getting 14 to 1 and the calling the river...shrug...its just one bet..... I like the call down, you have two outs to the nuts (unless he has 99) and maaaaybe you arent beat.

No, but strong gut feeling.

is your gut feeling upwards of 95% correct?

i mean you cant fold the turn due to you drawing to the nuts and collecting the extra bets if you hit. and folding the river for one extra bet without a solid read in the party 15 just seems wrong to me.

i would rather make a small mistake than a enormous one.
