Default AKo misplayed?

PokerStars 20+2 No-Limit Hold'em SNG, Big Blind is t50 (7 handed) converter

CO (t1820)
Button (t1305)
SB (t2395)
BB (t1430)
UTG (t2935)
Villian (t2275)
Hero (t1340)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls t50, <font color="#CC3333"> Villian raises to t300</font>, Hero calls t300, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, UTG folds.

Flop: (t725) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Villian checks, Hero checks.

Turn: (t725) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Villian bets t100</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t400</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Villian raises to t700</font>, Hero calls t300.

I'm sure I misplayed this, but I don't know what the best approach would've been. Comments?

Calling one third of your stack blows. Go all in preflop.

or hey, you could fold.

i agree that the preflop play stinks. however, i mean, you're owed a "your post flop play sucked," so consider this given to you, by me. pushing the flop wouldn't have even been bad, no?

I think you're right. I'm just a bit gunshy with AKo. Especially since the blinds seemed relatively small.

Before someone calls me an idiot, I have no idea why I think 300/1300 = 1/3. Still calling that much sucks.

Agreed. But once I make the mistake of just calling preflop, do I bet the flop? Fold the turn?

once you get to teh flop, and it comes so that you either a) might have hte best hand b) might fold a better hand c) might have as many as 10 clean outs if you're behind, i probably push there, seeing as how i have 1000 behind in a 700 chip pot

But if you take your line, the turn is a very shaky place to make a move. He's giving you a great price to just call.
