Default Rate my FF Draft!!!

10 team league. Normal Yahoo-type scoring. 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 WR/RB, TE, DEF, K.

Thanks in advance....

1. (8) D. McAllister
2. (13) D. Davis
3. (28) S. Jackson
4. (33) J. Walker
5. (48) A. Boldin
6. (53) C. Williams
7. (68) Ro. Williams
8. (73) J. Plummer
9. (88) L. Evans
10. (93) J. Bettis
11. (108) E. Kennison
12. (113) C. Palmer
13. (128) Da. Clark
14. (133) Cincinnati
15. (148) L. Suggs
16. (153) B. Cundiff

My 6th round pick is a mistake that I will point out right away. I ran out of time and couldn't make up my mind and just took the highest "Yahoo Ranked" RB available at that spot. Bennett/Suggs were still available and I think I should have taken one of them instead. Still grabbed one much later at least.

Suggs and Cadillac look like good picks. Stephen Jackson looks like a reach there. The Cincy D was def a waste. Jake looks like a reach, Carson could be a good pick there. Kennison?

Taking the Cincy D was probably a mistake. I probably shouldn't have even drafted a DEF at all.

Alot of Kennison hate here, he is the Chiefs #1 receiver isn't he? I also had to keep bye weeks in mind, this was a big reason I took him there.

The next QB's off the board (after Plummer) were: Roethlisberger, Delhomme, Pennington, and Brooks. Is Plummer really worse (fantasy wise) then those guys?

I would have taken Brooks before Plummer. Nice recovery with Palmer this year. I think he's going to break out.

Stephen Jackson looks like a reach there.

You do know he is starting in one of the best offenses in the NFL and averaged almost 5 yards a cary last year. I think Stephen Jackson will have a monster year.

1. (8) D. McAllister meh, I'm not big on Deuce but I guess
2. (13) D. Davis Good catches alot of balls too
3. (28) S. Jackson I like it (see above)
4. (33) J. Walker good
5. (48) A. Boldin good
6. (53) C. Williams eh, a little early
7. (68) Ro. Williams I'm okay with it
8. (73) J. Plummer Okay
9. (88) L. Evans meh
10. (93) J. Bettis meh
11. (108) E. Kennison Okay, but he won't see as many balls as you would think for a #1 Wideout
12. (113) C. Palmer Oooo nice value late
13. (128) Da. Clark should be good with no Pollard just hope he stays healthy
14. (133) Cincinnati Huh?!? What the Browns weren't available?
15. (148) L. Suggs nice value, he could really take hold of the Browns starting running back and will give you good trade bait
16. (153) B. Cundiff hmmmm where's that waiver wire

Thanks for the comments.

You don't like the Bettis pick? Staley is hurt (again) and Bettis is going to be given the ball on 90% of the goal-line situations all year.

Also with WR Burress(singed with Giants) and WR Hines (hold out) the Steelers will(should in theory) run the ball alot more. Picking up Bettis at this point in the draft was not a great steal but no the less good pick up.

I just think Bettis has about five to six games in him. If he is wasting those in the begining of the year the Steeler's will be in trouble. And he will be useless by Week 7 in Fantasy. Bettis was so good last year because he basically rested the first half of the year while Staley took all the carries. With no Staley you'll get the old inconsistent Bus from two years ago.

I think...
3. (28) S. Jackson
6. (53) C. Williams
11. (108) E. Kennison
were taken too early, but perhaps during the season you will be able to trade and upgrade for better QB

I agree about Jackson and Cadillac maybe a bit too early. But I'm not sure about the Kennison pick being too early.
