Big stack open minraises. Do I consider anything else preflop?

Fantastic flop for me, I would think. Should I lead out at it? I expected the BB to check and the big stack to make a continuation bet. I planned to check/call or check/push depending on the size of his bet. When the BB led at it weakly and was smooth-called, I decided it was time to take this down now. Anyone play it differently?

If the BB checks and big stack leads 200 or less, do I smooth call and try to get more chips in on a non-spade turn?

Finally, what percentage of the time do they both fold to my check/push?

Thanks for advice on any aspect of the hand.

I think you played it fine. With chip leaders stack, his min-raise PF could have been just about anything. While more times than not you have him dominated, I personally don't mind simply calling - looking for the favorable flop (If you were in worse standing, short on chips, pushing over the top PF is a must).

Post flop is perfect IMO. You can just about bank on PFraiser/cold-caller to lead out here. I'm pushing over the top everytime. I can live with the results if this hand busts me.

Preflop - Out of position, I usually just push this. Unless he's a very tight raiser, I think that's the safest play. I'm sure you could make a good argument for calling though.

With that flop, I check with the intention of raising all-in. I don't mess around with calling a bet and trying to get more money in on the turn. That holds even if the BB checks and button bets 200 or less. I think the big stack will often call your push with a lesser K, so I don't see a good reason to slow play. Also if you wait til the turn, you have to either make a suspicious looking lead bet or risk it checking around.

I think you played it fine - just adding my two cents

Lucky flop. I wouldn't flat call here preflop. But since you are in a great position on the flop, I wouldn't push. I'd raise it to 500-600 hoping for a grudge call, then pushing on the turn. That way you make a few hundred more chips and extra insurance when it gets to the bubble.
