No, don't think so. I did get beat by someone with something like that, but that fellow tilted off about 15k or so in about 3 hours. Would be hard-pressed to believe that was you.

Nothing in particular pissed me off, just kind of a ho-hum couple of days.

Default Sry I missed ya, Andy . . .

Just didn't feel like playing cards, so I wrapped it up. As your leader says, I'll be back.

FWIW, Joe told me he didnt feel like playing poker while he was still a small winner in the game. I played some 1-2 this past week and the game was very good. But, until they start dealing me 300 hands an hour, I probably wont be making too many trips out there. I think a good player playing the 30-60 will win a lot more than a great player playing the Commerce 1-2 even with perfect game selection. Throw in the fact that 90% of the guys Ive played with in that game have been real miserable people, and it doesnt appeal to me all that much. When I used to play live a lot that stuff never bothered me, but now that I pretty much only go to mix it up and have a good time, I'm not too crazy about it. They are all laughing it up and having a good time when they are stacking chips, and screaming at dealers and telling bad beat stories when they arnt. If there was more guys like Andy in that place, I'd probably make the 20 minute drive a lot more. Anyway he is right, poker is dumb, we should have drank beer and went to Malibu.

OK, next time. Take care.

I donated some chips to Snakehead today and I felt like playing.

On another note, I never saw more dealer and floorman mistakes than I saw today at Commerce (which is saying something). Snakehead and I expressed our concerns, politely, to a supervisor, who said he'd address the issues and then, surprise, did nothing.

If the hurricane thing is bugging you out, look at this thread:

hurricane relief, what you can do

Then maybe you'll be able to put it out of your mind?

sounds like me. I lost about $10,000 that day. hell of it was, I was still ahead for the week after that.

but since you had been playing over 24 hours and had over $25,000 in front of you, how could you have lost $9000?
