Default Can I please check behind on this turn?

Villan is 49/26, with no other reads I haven't been at the table long.

50/100 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB folds, BB calls.

Turn: (4 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero ?

No way I check that turn even against that aggro of a player. Your ahead of a bunch of aces, a Q, and any gutter he would have peeled the flop with.

If you get raised it's a pretty easy calldown I think. But I don't play 50/100.

My standard play all along has been to bet the turn here. But the thing is, even though I have TPTK this is a situation where I don't want a lot of bets going in, because if so I'm going to be behind a good majority of the time, but if I am raised I am bound to the pot by the slight chance I might be ahead and the chance I have to improve. Also since the pot is pretty small do I really mind somebody drawing to 2-4 outs?

This villain seems too loose to consider checking. Against a tighter player I could see it.

KQ and QT have 6 outs. EDIT: So do KK and TT but they'd probably also 3-bet preflop.

I bet the turn because a player like this might try a bluff on the scare card, especially if you've shown an ability to fold. If you're gonna call down anyway, might as well give him a chance to bluff multiple bets as well as call down with a worse hand.

He will pay you off with a worse hand plenty often enough that you want to bet. He may also bluff the J or pay another BB for the gutter.
