Default The Effective Bigstack?

We've all been there... you're the big stack or the second biggest stack and we're on the bubble. It gets down to that point where there are people with stacks low enough that we can almost call their all-in with any two cards. It got me wondering.. if we are practically ITM already, would it be more profitable to allow the small stack to stay around for a few extra hands to milk the conservative nature of the other players? Personally I just call their all-ins w/ any 2 but I wonder if anyone else takes the former line when in this position.

Default Re: The Effective Bigstack?

I'm too lazy to search, but this topic has been discussed widely and some of the better players have posted great examples of preserving the bubble. The situation has to be such that you can continue to abuse everyone even after making what appears to be a horrible fold, though. So, while it is a great tactic, the situations in which it would be useful are not as numerous as they at first appear.
