Default Biting the bullet: finally getting a new video card

So I decided to get another 2001FP while they're still on sale, and I need to get a new video card. I've gone through this before (bought a cheap PCI card, had some trouble), so right now I'm looking into getting an AGP card. I'd appreciate it is you guys could answer a few questions.

How do I figure out if I have AGP or AGP Pro slots? I'm pretty sure it's a regular AGP slot, but is there a way to figure this out through system hardware on my computer?

Would this card be able to handle 8 tables, and maybe a newish game like Civ 4 (I don't really play any FPS's, so I don't need something incredibly awesome)?

Do I have to install the drivers before or after removing my old AGP card?

Thanks in advance.
