How many World Series of Poker entries will come from internet in 04
For the main event I mean. I'm guessing over 100. I think the internet was the best thing since Amarillo Slim for the game.

Yeah I wouldn't be suprised to see over 1500 entrants with possibly 300 coming from t'Internet. Anyone think any of the sites will run satellites for the other events?

Don't know about 1500, but near enough I would say. This sounds like someone should be running a book on this somewhere. How would they cope if the numbers got as big as some are suggesting? An extra day? Would that be enough if numbers virtually doubled?

there wont be as much as there should be with the WSOP up in the air. It seems all the sites have postponed any promotion or satellites for the WSOP.

They are running the two "first" days with the field split in two and then joined on the third day.
FYI Betfair ran a book on number of runners last year. |
