If I raise the flop, does AK or AQ call my turn bet without spiking a K or a Q?

[/ QUOTE ]

No, and isn't this a good thing?

[/ QUOTE ]
If I've got him on specifically one of those two hands, he has 6 outs to beat me. If I can get him to make a double sized turn bet without hitting one of those cards, profit++.

If you could specifically put him on one of those hands(AQ, AK), you have to c/r the turn. That's a pretty narrow read on an opponent though. Why wouldn't he be betting his AT, Overpair or something similar for value? Do you have a good read on his preflop raise hands from MP with limpers? Hell, I'd raise something like KTs from MP with that many players limping in...

KTs/QTs/KTs/JTs/maybe T9s?

I don't usually play this high (3/6), but would someone really openraise MP with QTs? JTs? T9s?

Live 3/6 is like online .02/.04. Me and Invictus are the only people at the table who have ever even glanced at a preflop chart.

Invictus is opening with a wide range in MP if he's playing his A game, up to and including T9s.

This sort of diverges from the original post, but what is the value in openraising T9s? I understand if you have a lot of limpers, you can raise T9s with an edge in equity. But it seems like openraising would limit the field to people that have overcards, or higher pp's. Why do you prefer to openraise instead of open limp T9s?

position, position, position. If everyone folds to you in MP, you probably have the best hand. Raise while you are ahead.

I doubt Thigh is ever the best hand, I'd raise this from the CO and BTN, and occasionally from the Hijack

You are only MP, there are 4-5 ppl still to act. If you get called, aren't you going to be playing out of position for the rest of the hand?

Don't be too narrow.

[/ QUOTE ]
Even that's too narrow! Depending on position and table reads I'd raise down to JTo and anything 77+ from MP. And if it's folded to me I'd be more inclined to do so. This table was all either LAGs or LAPs outside of myself and Paxosmatic.
