Default mid/Late in tourney

blinds 800-1600
hero: (t22452)
UTG pushes for a bit over t9000
hero is mp with AJo
Can you make this call?
I cant really tell if this was a bit of desperation before the blinds hit from UTG or if he has a hand. No real read from villan he seems to have been quiet after suffering a few loses. I haven't been at this table long, and he hasn't shown down his cards yet (or been involved in too many hands)
I seee this situation as coin flip at best and WAY behind at worst.

Can you call here?

Fold. If you were in LP or better yet in the blinds then I think it's close. But in MP you still have several people left to act.

Lets just put me LP for a hypothetical. What happens then? Can you justify a call there?

It's really borderline. Presuming neither of the blinds enters the pot you're getting around 1.3 to 1 odds and you're probably 50/50 versus his range of hands. But it's big chunk of a decent stack so I think I'd fold.
