Default Fossilman tells?

i've noticed Raymer puts his glasses on after the fact he's seen his hand and goes through all his motions then puts them on after he is done. He does say that in the TOC that the glasses probably won't matter because of all the top notch pros involved but i think everything else he does before he puts them on does matter. i personally havent caught any tells but i'm sure to the best they probably could pick up something before he does put his glasses on. Has anybody picked up on anything here. My advice to you Raymer, always wear them or put them on before you are dealt a hand, i think the more motion you go through the more information you are giving out.

If he gonna play a pot he puts them on. They might have picked that up from him putting chips in the pot though. Either way good read.

Howard Lederer has a similar tell. If He decides to play , He puts a chip on his cards.

That's not really a tell because he could be putting a chip on his cards for any number of reasons... but when he puts chips in the pot to call the bet, that's just plain giving away the fact that he's going to play the hand. I can't believe he's a pro making that mistake.

Nice catch, but it's hard to believe you didn't notice his other major tell. He throws his cards toward the dealer when he has a bad hand.

Hi reuben,

I was playing against a big name player the other day -- I won't mention his name -- and I noticed one of the clearest tells I've ever seen. At the river, when he thought he had the best hand, he'd turn his cards up and nod to the dealer and the dealer would push the pot over to him. Well, once I picked up on that gem, I stopped putting any money into a pot after it was over.

Cris

Okay, I will mention his name: Dimitrious Aloyicius Rodalfus Blagdonovicius. You've probably never heard of him, but trust me ... that's a big name.
