Sublime: "Pawn Shop". I've never been able to get into this song. One of the only songs I skip on any Sublime CD.

I guess my favorite band is Pink Floyd; I hate pretty much everything from the post-Waters era. From "real" Floyd, I've never liked Money at all.

I need to buy their first "hit" albumn. We used to listen to that thing everyday in my first year of Architecture school in '97. Those guys could have made a looooot of money had their leader not OD'ed.

[/ QUOTE ] This is my fathers favorite Floyd song and recently on a Houston radio station this song came in 8th place of the "top 500 classic rock songs", or whatever over Labor Day weekend. I was very shocked. It's a strange song. I think people love it or hate it. Me, I'm not so fond of it. It sounds like a song that Billy Joel wishes he recorded. Had Billy Joel recorded this song it would be one of his best, but he didn't, did he... Man, Billy Joel realllly sucks doesn't he? Damn. I like "Piano Man" and "Only Rock and Roll to me" but jeez, that's about it.
