29% VIP is not "pretty tight". Try playing 2 6 max tables. Your reads will be much more solid.

I play 4-7 tables of $1/$2 NL......Full ring only ..... 6 max is too swingy....and needs more attention....well I think so anyway ....

aright heres more of my stats:
Won at showdown: 50.29%
PF Raise %: 8.02

In 6 max you can raise a lot more with position, though this is chep spewing if you aren't paying attention. My stats on 6max are 22/11 and my post flop aggression not including preflop numbers is ~4.5. Though if your bad beats are canceling out your profits, then your stats aren't the problem. You just need a bigger bankroll so you can withstand the variance.
