Default Help me get back to 5/10

Well, my roll is pretty healthy, but I took a beating psychologically last time I was there.

I've been playing a lot lower to regain my confidence, which I have to some degree, so I started adding a few 5/10 tables to the mix today.

Got anally violated. Let me know if these are well played or shite.

1 looks good,
2 Folding to checkraise here seems logical unless your against a habitual bluffer. You do not have too many outs if your behind, and if your ahead, say to a qj or a flush draw, he/she has many outs to beat you. Basically, your probably either real far behind, or slightly ahead (most likely the former). Not something you want to pay 20 bucks to find out.

3 Tough call, depends on the player.

4 I think I would raise the flop here, to many draws for the UTG player to let him in cheap. I would play this hand very strong.

5 looks good

6 looks good

Hand 1: Fine without a read.

Hand 2: Fold the turn against all but those known to take shots at you.

Hand 3: Check-call. Check-call. Bet-fold.

Hand 4: Not sure. I'm check-raising the turn against laggier players and check-calling the entire way against those with normal preflop capping standards. Seems wimpy, but if villian is capping with AQ+, JJ+, then you are behind most of his hands.

Hand 5: Good.

Hand 6: Seems about right. If you have aggressive players on your left, then I would be looking to check-raise this flop the majority of time.

Without any reads, these hands are basically not worth talking about. We can't help you until you help us .

1. Standard.
2. Barring a read, turn should be a routine fold.
3. Better to just check call down (and bet the river if you know what to do if you get raised) when it's heads up to you on the flop for one bet.
4. Tough spot. Check raise flop since UTG is still in? I'd probably do that and be willing to fold the turn unimproved if button is still coming at me. Not sure about this one.
5. Standard.
6. Looks fine. Against passives, just call down after being raised on the turn.

gotta couple questions.

No offense intended, but what was your thinking when you called the turn raise in hand #2? You still think you're ahead?

On hand #3, this is classic check-call check-call bet-fold.
Have you considered taking X time away from the tables and spending X time here reading the archives?

1) Thought I was in the Party game instead of Stars for a second

2) I spend all day on the forums and I still suck.

I do'nt think 2 is that bad, but a read would be nice of course. He could have a 7, air, and that card also puts out some semibluffable draws. Of course I don't know how aggressive the 5/10 plays...

The only hand I have a bit of trouble with is the 88 hand. Against most players you can release that on the turn I think.
