Default Should I have seen this coming?

This is my first posting of a hand that I played. I am new to poker, but not totally new that I have no idea what I'm doing. I just started taking poker seriously, wanting to enjoy the great riches that it can bring (within time of course).

This hand was not from a 6-max table although some people folded it to make it short-handed. Also, I am under a new lead so this is where I'm supposed to post.

Should I have seen this coming and folded back on the turn?

It's not bad. I'd consider a river raise. And don’t title threads in a way that implies you just got sucked out on. It will bias the responses and people who've been sucked out on thousands of times don't care that he had 43o or whatever. Oh and post reads.
