3/6 Stars river bluff.
Villain is somewhat on the loose side, as far as I can tell. VPIP is around 30 but over a limited number of hands.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx MP2 ($813.55) CO ($256.95) Button ($1117.80) SB ($523.15) Hero ($552) UTG ($612) UTG+1 ($246) MP1 ($924) Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 3 folds, MP2 raises to $18, CO calls $18, Button calls $18, 1 fold, Hero calls $12. Re: 3/6 Stars river bluff.
just fold turn...
when bluffing 4 card flush, you can get away with 1/2 psb..they will achieve very similar results |

Re: 3/6 Stars river bluff.
It's not a 4 card flush.

Re: 3/6 Stars river bluff.
How come you're in there calling down someone you don't know except that he's a little aggro? And OOP to boot.
I do this kind of thing from time to time, and it feels great when it works, but I feel like a donkey when it doesn't. There will be many many better spots. In this situation, I'm folding 100% of the time on the turn. Unless, of course, I feel like getting out of line... |

Re: 3/6 Stars river bluff.
i'm seeing things..
the bluff looks okay since villan seemed pretty weak on turn, bad thing is it's not really representing a specific hand. I think it may be cheaper to checkraise bluff the turn though. |

Re: 3/6 Stars river bluff.
If you're going to make a move at this pot, I think the turn is the place to do it, but i still think folding the turn is going to be more profitable in the long run. Without a read on the opponent, though, it's hard to say if this play will work or not.....
i'd fold the turn. |

Re: Results.
Against an unknown, I make moves like that at smaller pots since I have no idea if they're capable of folding or like to make huge calls. That way, I either take down the pot, or establish an image I can use later for a much cheaper price.
