No clue on any of them - my defense - I'm square -

actually, grew up in Montana too - but I was listening to Neil Young and hippie music back when metal was cool -

but I knew then I could be happy the rest of my life with a cinnimon girl -

"Movin' to montana soon, gonna be a dental floss tycoon"

A 2+2=Super-Magoo chip to the one who gets that reference to my satisfaction.

Who wrote/performed? Who sang? Which version?

What is he really talking about in the song?

Still some great metal coming from Germany. Check out Dew Scented (horrible name, great thrash band) and the new CD Heaven Shall Burn vs. Caliban Split part II. Those bands are too emo for their own good now, but both have amazing older (meaning late 90s) stuff.

Well, since you dig Zappa... your nuts are safe, too.

In honor of the lead singer of Accept, here's a song by Frank.

Bobby Brown Goes Down-Frank Zappa

Hey there, people, I'm Bobby Brown
They say I'm the cutest boy in town
My car is fast, my teeth is shiney
I tell all the girls they can kiss my heinie

Here I am at a famous school
I'm dressin'sharp 'n' I'm Actin' cool
I got a cheerleader here wants to help with my paper
Let her do all the work 'n' maybe later I'll rape her

Oh God I am the American dream
I do not think I'm too extreme
An' I'm a handsome sonofabitch
I'm gonna get a good job 'n' be real rich

Getta good, getta good, getta good, getta good job

Women's Liberation
Came creepin' all across the nation
I tell you people, I was not ready
When I [censored] this dyke by the name of Freddie

She made a little speech then,
Aw, she tried to make me say when
She had my balls in a vice, but she left the dick
I guess it's still hooked on, but now it shoots too quick

Oh God I am the American dream
But now I smell like Vaseline
An' I'm a miserable sonofabitch
Am I a boy or a lady... I don't know which

I wonda, wonda, wonda, wonda

So I went out 'n' bought me a leisure suit
I jingle my change, but I'm still kinda cute
Got a job doin' radio promo
And none of the jocks can even tell I'm a [censored]

Eventually me 'nd a friend
Sorta of drifted along into S&M
I can take about an hour on the tower of power
As long as I gets a little golden shower

Oh God I am the American dream
With a spindle up my butt till it makes me scream
An' I'll do anything to get ahead
I lay awake nights sayin,' "Thank you, Fred!"

Oh God, Oh God, I'm so fantastic!
Thanks to Freddie, I'm a sexual spastic

And my name is Bobby Brown
Watch me now; I'm goin' down,
And my name is Bobby Brown
Watch me now; I'm goin' down

Here's my final answer:

I suspect that 'dental floss' refer to a certain herb that Woody Harrelson likes to make belts out of. As for the rest of my answer, I submit Exhibit A:

Default Zappa

hey, I was looking for something obscure and came upon this old post that I had missed !!

Anyway, in honor of the great FZ, I should just throw in these lyrics, and hope someone "gets it" ...

Andy devine had a thong rind
it was sublime, but the wrong kind
have I aligned with a blown mind?
wasting my time on a drawn blind?

Anyway, I never got to see FZ, but I have seen project object, who played that tune with utmost precision and fantastickness!

Projectobject.com

for anyone who hasn't seen it, they friggin' rock! Worthy of FZ, and usually with some of his band members to boot!
