Default 10/20- Fold a set for one bet

I broke my Cardinal rule. Did not see the hand, so this is not an "Oh NO" post.

Anyway on with our story:

Hero is MP2 with 88

BB villian is 35/17/1.25 WTSD 28 W$SD 51 AGG by street .9/1.8/1.5 This is the first time he has checkraise over 60 hands

PF: Folded to hero who raises, LPP button calls, LAP SB calls, Villian calls.

Flop: (8sb) 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checked to hero who bets, button raises, SB folds, BB calls,
Hero 3-bets, Button calls, BB calls

Turn: (8.5BB) 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, BB raises, hero calls, button calls

River: 14.3 BB 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB bets, hero folds,...

I hate folding a set for one bet. Four to a straight blows and it looks like this clown is playing QJ or J10, but he could easily have Q9, Q10 or some other two pair.

I think I'm calling for one bet.

Well boy o boy is my feeling hurt...

So no one else wants to comment on the almost completely read dependent hand where I most likely had the math to call one bet? suprise suprise.

Anyway, I was hoping for a discussion to emerge on actually having to give more weight to a Jack because of how the hand was played and too talk about whether that would factor in to any EV calc. Also whether more wieght should be given to the turn checkraise because of the protected pot situation... but so goes life.

My only gripe is that the pot is large and its likely you'll only be paying one bet. I'd call here online. Maybe I'd be able to make a fold live.
