Railbirding Underage in AC

Hey guys, I've seen a ton of posts on playing underage in casinos but I've never seen this mentioned. I will be in AC for a day next week, and I'm not sure if I want to take the risk of playing underage. Is anyone going to give me trouble if I spend some time watching poker games at the Borg and the Taj?

Borg will often ID when you get off the escalator to the poker room.

I know you have to be 21 to be on the casino floor, but I'm not sure about the poker room. I used to play poker at the Taj when i was 18 and was never carded, so i doubt they will care if you're just watching some of the games. As a side note, my friend who is under 21 plays in AC all the time at the Taj and Tropicana and says that he usually walks right up to the floorman and says something along the lines of "Hi, my name is _____, I'm from Pennsylvania and staying in town for the night and would like to play some "insert whatever limit you want to play" texas hold em. He says that hes done that countless times and has never been carded. Hope that helps.

Interesting, I may try that. During the day, do either of those places generally spread any NL higher than 1-2?

If you get caught, you'll get kicked out of the casino. I've heard that they threaten you with arrest as well.

I've been carded going into the tropicana, but never once i'm inside. So if you can get past the door you might not have a problem.

Go through the hotel entrance. I stayed at the trop recently for a few days and the poker room was almost exactly at the bottom of the elevator down from my hotel room. Nobody between my room and the poker room to card anyone

I think thats if you give them a fake id, if you just say
"I must have left my id in the car" theres not much they can do besides ask you to go get it

Yes. Taj, Borg, and Trop all spread 2/5 NL, and occasionally higher if there is enough interest (definitely 5/10 NL on the weekends)

That sounds seriously lame.

I can't believe that that line has never gotten him carded, or that some floorman hasn't told him to get his a$$ up to the podium to put his name on the list like everyone else.
