Restoring Brass.....any ideas?

Ok, so I'm starting my own business and the storefront frame is made of brass...which is generally a nice thing. However, the brass hasnt been well maintained so its all pitted and not very pleasant looking. Other than something like Noxon or Brasso and alot of time, does anyone have any other suggestions for what type of person I would call to get it professionaly done?
