Default Did I mess up this hand?

No red on hero, pretty standard till the turn where I don't know what to do anymore, what's the best line?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (8 handed) converter

He won't check a ten here on the turn, or check-call it on the flop, without something like the A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] with it; possibly the K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I suppose. He certainly wouldn't check-call a set on the flop, so basically you're worried about two hands? It depends on buy-in, but I think leading for 500 here can't be too far wrong.

Preflop: Fine

Flop: I'd bet a little less. If they'll fold for 300, they'll fold for 200, If they'll call for 200, they'll call for 300.

Turn. Now the pot's so big that any bet you make to deny any drawing odds commits your entire stack. I'm tempted to check behind here because a) if he has a T, he's going to checkraise though I think he'd be more likely to just bet out, then he'd have odds to fill up if you put him all-in, and b) Now he's more likely to take a stab at the pot on the river if it isn't a club.

The way I see it, betting the turn is dicey because you're unlikely to get called by any hand you beat, and the club in your hand is big enough that you don't have to be too concerned with a free card.

Tough choice one way or the other.

well, if I bet 500, I bet half of my stack, he raises me all in, I have to call (no?), so I think the options are more like, checking behind, make a small bet(bad) and go all in, my stack is about the size of the pot. Like Kurn said, I think I'm called by hands that beat me, and rarely by hands I beat, so right now I tend on checking. But if I check, I'm pretty lost on the river.
