Default Morongo for New Year\'s

(cross-posted in Small Stakes).

Good morning. Last night my buddy invited me to go to Casino Morongo, just outside of Palm Springs, for New Year's. He's not a poker player though. I guess he's interested in playing craps.

Anyhow, I was wondering if any other 2+2'ers might be headed out that way to ring in the New Year. You know, get a game together, shoot the [censored], etc.

I was also wondering if anyone knows what limits they spread there. Their website seems to be under construction. I'm not really interested in anything below 4/8 or anything above 10/20.

I'll be checking back after work, about 5:00 pacific time.

Default Re: Morongo for New Year\'s

Morongo just recently opened a new casino/hotel and it's MUCH nicer than the old place. The poker room is still kind of small but I think it's pretty decent, though the waiting list for the lower limits can get a bit long on weekends. For HE they have regular $2/$4 and 3/6, 4/8, 6/12 kill. They also have a couple of NL tables going and 8/16 and 10/20 which are non-kill. The games are very fishy, especially at 3/6 and 4/8. I actually have to leave for Morongo right now so if you have any questions feel free to PM me.
