Default river poll

the two villians in this hand are the two biggest donators i think i've ever seen. mp is 48/18/2.2, whereas the CO here is 87/4.5/0.86 call down monkey. this a raise or call? fold included in poll, ya know, just in case....

Big pot, premium pair, 2 bad players = call

mm not sure about this. during the hand i would probably call.

if mp is reasonable postflop, then i think i would call. for us to 3bet we would need to think that he decided to "slowplay " the turn with QQ-TT or even 88, which seems unlikely.

and even if he is a little loony and could pull off the weird slowplay, assigning him hands like QQ-TT should be somewhat discounted b/c his actions don't exactly scream QQ-TT, but almost perfectly match something like AKd/AQd. (depending on what he'd raise the flop with).

i think i just call.

I voted to call the river, but it's the flop that caught my eye. I would 3-bet this every time...anyone agree/disagree?

i wanted to get a turn c/r in, as he was likely to slow down to a 3-bet and bet/3-betting the turn may have forced the other guy to fold

When he raises the flop he could have hit (or not) nearly any pair and believe you are playing over cards. Later you then establish that you do have a hand by raising the turn. When he then raises the river it could be him goofing off but he could have hit a 5 or a bd flush. He also could have boo but it takes some gusto to raise this as a bluff multiway with a player that is bound to call. I don't see a particular advantage to throwing another raise in. Maybe its weak as there does exist players here that will give you those 2 extra bets here but I do think him having a 5 here is significant enough just to call.
