Just read the results. that sucks.

The only place in this game to make good laydowns IMO is the turn or the flop (in general)...in that order. I think being proud of making big laydowns on the river, especially in big pots, is bad bad bad.

Especially here.

The adjective form of paroxysm is paroxysmal, right? Paroxysmal despair. Oh, and sorry about those results.

My stomach is growling. I'm sure I'll find a good joint down on the Central Coast somewhere...

This hand is a great case of something that everyone should think about. The way your opponents perceive YOU is all that matters in hands, not the way that they perceive the others in the game. My snug was hardly that when in a pot with you. Small errors in analysis about this fact can either be slightly wrong or horribly terrible for you, and that's why I'm a payoff wizard.

yeah but this guy couldnt have any read on me other than cautious because that's how id been playing and we hadnt played before. i think he just figured on the turn he made the likely best hand and he played it accordingly.

Folding is like saying to the aggressor "you almost never semi-bluff/bluff." Very few players fall into this category.

I would have folded also. Just goes to show you what I know. Heck, I folded a flopped nut flush online (was a high speed game, but my cat distracted me).
