I guess I'm a fair sized guy, so I'm less of a target, but the game is so good (structure and bad players). Couple that with the fact that it's the closest NL game I know of and it's the place I got to weekly or bi-weekly. Garland

I just checked out the Palace's website, its 1/1/2, 5 bring in... is there REALLY no cap? If the player quality is anything like the 1/1/2 at LC ($100 max, thank god for their sake)... bloodbath?

[/ QUOTE ] Here's the deal. I've played the 1/1/2 at LC and the 1-2-2, 5 to bring in at The Palace. I would describe Lucky Chances as loose passive. The action at The Palace is also loose, but ranges from somewhat aggressive to very aggressive. Lots of bluffing going on. Let's put it this way. It's not uncommon to see a check-down after a limp-fest at LC. This is rare at the Palace. Also, other than the bonus that you can buy in for as much as you want, anyone can kill it for $5 from any position and anyone can double kill it for $10. The $5 kill often happens, so it often plays like a $5/$10 game and sometimes with a double kill, a $10/$20 game. The quality of the opposition is very bad. You'll see big calls with draws...such as AK on a xxx flop when I overbet the pot with an overpair. Yes indeed, it can be bloodbath, and the beats can be absolutely brutal, especially when you see two (or more) big stacks on the line! I should know, last Saturday, with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], I flopped TPTK on a A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Other guy had A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], and I runner runner him for the nut flush.
