Default PP 2-4: capped 4 ways pre-flop

I had just sat down so no reads, unfortunately.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, MP1 3-bets, 1 fold, MP3 calls, 3 folds, BB caps, Hero calls, MP1 calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (16.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, MP1 calls, MP3 folds, BB calls.

Now that I think about it, this flop raise might fall under SSH's heading "When betting does not protect your hand".

Turn: (11.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, BB calls.

River: (14.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, Hero calls, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 17.25 BB

Looks like BB has a J (JJ?)or AA and let you bet his hand for him. Maybe AA that waited til the heart didn't hit?

You are getting 16:2=8:1 expected on your call preflop here. That's better than the odds of flopping a set (7:1).

I can't imagine folding TT here, ever.

I like every street here, except you can fold the river.

seems like folding the river here for one bet getting 7:1 would be a mistake.

It's not a mistake. If he's not beat by BB he's beat by MP1 > 95% of the time here.

What hands does BB bet the river with that Hero beats? Considering Hero is representing a J or a strong pair, I think this is only AA, KK, QQ, JJ, or AJ.

PS he's getting 15:1.
