Re: Poker.com
[ QUOTE ]
Reason I ask is I won $28 on the $200 freeroll and been playing. Wondering your folks feelings on the site if I should keep playing as I do value all of your opinions on a site. [/ QUOTE ] You are asking people for an opinion on a site none of them play. You have played the site. You know more about it already than anyone can tell you. I have also played this site. Its great. Cashouts were on time, which is important to me. Management and customer support is top notch if you haven't experienced that yet. Next time you sign in, click the 'player admin' button and then click where it says 'forum'. Many many currently playing customers are there voicing all and everything about the site. Including suggestions and opinions. Management and support is also there answering questions or just being friendly. Good place to go. See you there. Congrats on your free roll win. I'm sure there will be much more to come in the future. Those $200's are tough to crack. |

PS Has anyone got a screenshot of the old poker.com or the old planetpoker? |

Re: Poker.com
[ QUOTE ]
I am still trying to search for information. What I remember waking up and the software being down and then going to the website and their were new people with their content there. Everyone with money there lost it. If I find anymore, I will post it. for interested parties, a snip from a recent P.R from pker. With respect to the dispute involving the domain, www.poker.com, the Company announces that a recent ruling by ICANN (The Internet Corporation For Assigned Names And Numbers) dated February 13, 2002 refused to acknowledge that Communication Services Inc., (the current registrant of the domain), were using the URL illegally and have suggested that action was more appropriate to be commenced against ALA Corp (the previous registrant of the domain). The Company is continuing to pursue all legal avenues through which its rights to the use of www.poker.com may be reclaimed. [/ QUOTE ] As another poster has mentioned, poker.com became ThePokerClub.com. Balances from Poker.com were transfered over. ThePokerClub has since joined with WPex. I would imagine a little digging on your part may yield your $100. What I find odd is that the current poker.com has affiliate ads to Pacific and Party. Wouldn't think they'd want to promote their competitors... |
