Fold face-up on Ultimatebet. With an option to turn this off, the software would be PERFECT.

Have you considered not folding face up?

Granted, I imagine you win enough pots where the 1 second difference this makes has probably wasted enough of your life to have played a few pots, but it's not an obvious gripe.

I'm sure there are a few fishies who have shown you hands in the pas that they should not have.

I nominate Party's software, generally.

1. Chairs and Avatars are LAME. Have to find third party mods to get rid of them.

[/ QUOTE ]

You can get rid of the avatars (not the chairs though). Go to options from the lobby, then video and audio options.

[/ QUOTE ]

I prefer editing the bitmaps myself.

I like to make all the chips $1 chips. It really helps me to ignore important things like the size of the pot or, in NL, a bet.

Party:

New game, choose 'Wait for BB'. If a blind or button busts out on the hand before you come in you miss a full lap!

Don't get me started on the 'industry leader' and their dogsh+t software. They should be ashamed.

[/ QUOTE ]

This isn't a big deal for me. I usually have the window on top, or click back on the table from time to time, if I'm cycling through enough tables for it to be under another.

The easiest solution, however, is to not click 'auto post blind.' The window pops up when it asks you, so you don't lose much time.

4. Have to type bet, and slider is difficult as hell to get in the right place.

5. Your final bet, that makes someone else fold GOES INTO THE POT BEFORE IT IS IMMEDIATELY RETURNED TO YOU. This is, without question, the stupidest thing I have ever seen.

7. Advertisements as you close the application.

[/ QUOTE ]

Party at least has most general functions covered pretty well. A lot of other sites have two or more of these bugs.

#7 particularly concerns me, though. I've noticed party uses a lot of cpu cycles when closing. Not a sign of well-coded software.

#5 doesn't really apply w/ animations off.

#4: I like typing my bets out, but they could have done better on the slider.

Haven't read all the other replies so someone might have mentioned this.

I think Pacific is by far the worst, becasue players can't play more than one table and they allow 30 seconds (or maybe more) to act .

Party Poker

I have a widescreen laptop and when I attempt to open a second table, Party puts the table halfway on my screen on the bottom. I have to drag it up in order to see the whole table.

Party needs more 6 max tables in the higher limits.

Not really sure how to stop this, maybe punish people who abuse this feature... when a new table pops up and someone sits down and a second player sits, there are usually 2 other people lurking around who sit down just to get a few free hands without posting the blinds, then they leave when it's their turn to post blinds. So gay

24 hr help tab has been busted for so long, why is it still there?

Would be nice to have a private table tournament option.

spammers

I also agree with almost everything else people hate about party. They definately need to upgrade.

I'm sure there are lots more problems with party .. i'm tired

Stars has the worst carpet. I keep seeing a wolves's face in the bottom right corner. The contrast in colors is poor.

Some of the prima's have the color of the button the same color as the chips. wtf. The lobby doesnt update. Cant tell if at a table of rocks or fish.
