Default frustrating hand

30 people left out of 1100 in 30+3 NL tourney on party. Blinds 1500-3000 I have a 17k stack. Folded to me in the Hijack with A6 clubs. Push or fold?

I ended up pushing, ran into AK on the button and lost. I was about 50/50 on this decision and decided to push but I'm having second thoughts. Any help is appreciated.

edit* sorry fixed the blind sizes, does that change anything? Thoughts?

Yeah I accidentally typed blinds were at 3-6000, I would've definetely been pushing there. They were actually at 1500-3000. Does that change your response?

I push this, and way less any time its folds to me in the HJ with less than 10BB. If you run into a good hand, so be it. You will run into plenty of KQs though too, and those you are ahead of.
