Default PS 20-table, calling LP raise w 89s

My thought was to lead out if flop turned rags.
Is it crazy to call with this preflop when in small blind? I surely ainīt doing it all the time.
What about betsize on flop?

I like the call, this is exactly the hand you want to call with when you already have money invested into the pot facing an LP raise.. plus you have a pretty big stack so you can take some shots.. I think I'd like a C-R here, let him C-bet first to get that one extra bet out of him, then put in a raise.
