Your river line was fine, although I might bet it, too.

I don't see why you're trying to protect your hand on this flop. The pot is getting big, but your equity is huge, and you have redraws against anyone that catches up.

Checking here would (a) suck, and (b) be very suspicious

So basically, There is no way to protect my hand (i.e. fold someone with an 8,or A. I know the opened ended crowd (9 or K) would stay, Although a 9 really only has 4 outs) So Just build a pot and hope to win UI or redraw if the straight comes out. I can see that.

Actually, those should be single quotation marks within the double quotes.

I feel like I've really contributed to this thread.

I really like your line the whole way through. I feel like giving a free card on that particular flop would make me vomit in my mouth.

I think the river is a classic check/call scenario. You have a fairly strong hand, but if you bet, only worse hands will fold and all better hands will call/raise. Not only that, but you could be bluffed here if you don't know the player well. If you check it to him, you might get a free showdown, but even better, you might get him to bet some hands that you beat and he would have folded if you bet, but now you pick up an extra bet.

I like it.
