Re: foxwoods spreading 40/80?
That is a 4-chip/8-chip structure. Sfer just doesn't consider it unwieldy.
I don't know if I'd consider it "unwieldy" but perhaps "less than comfortable." THe 40/80 in all red would be insanely retarded. Blue or $20 chips would be better. I wonder how the current mix of red and green works. |

Re: foxwoods spreading 40/80?
The 40/80 went last Thursday, in the early evening it was 4 or 5 handed. I had to leave, when it finally started. Usually if you can get it started 4 or 5 handed, it will usually fill up within an hour. I agree game kind of sucks without $10 chips-- but you probably got more of a chance trying to start a 40-80 then a 50-100, because thats what those crazy FW HE players prefer.

[ QUOTE ]
why shouldn't we all have 50 racks of white when we sit down to $50-$100? [/ QUOTE ] I've played in a $50/100 with red chips. Technically, it was a 30/60, but everyone at the table had overs buttons to 50/100 (at least until I joined the game and didn't take the overs). |

[ QUOTE ] 4 chip/8 chip isn't unwieldy. Your example is. [/ QUOTE ] You don't consider the 20-40 game played with $5 chips to be a 4-chip / 8-chip structure? Isn't that what's meant by it that it would be 4-chips pre-flop and on the flop and 8 on the turn and river...? Barron Vangor Toth BarronVangorToth.com [/ QUOTE ] Can you read? |
